The national standard for gaskets and resilient gaskets (including spring gaskets and toothed lock gaskets) has changed considerably in recent years.
Standard number for flat gasket: ASME B8.221 has been cancelled. Flat gasket is combined with elastic gasket using one standard number ASME e18.21.1-2009.
The national standards for ASME H18.8.1 and ASME B18.8.2 for products sold in the United States remain unchanged
Including the following criteria
序號 | 標準名稱 | |
Packing standard | 1 | ASME B18.21.1-2009《Spring washer, toothed lock pad and plain washer》 |
2 | ASTM F8440《No hardness required for steel pad》
3 | ASIM E436-114 《Hardened steel washer》
4 | ASMF2437-11《Carbon steel alloy steel compression gasket showing elasticity (for screws, studs, floor studs and studs)》
Pin standard | 1 | AsEB18&1=1994(R2005)《Pin shaft and split pin》 |
2 | ASME B18832000R2005)《Cone pin, column pin, direct selling, slot pin and elastic pin》 |
According to the actual needs of domestic fastener production and export enterprises, as well as related units and technical personnel, there are
The gasket closure section is described in more detail (with only a brief explanation of ASTM F2437), and ASTM f844-00 is added
Non-hardness requirements for steel gaskets and ASTM f436m-11 "float hard steel gaskets (metric series)". Yeah, the last two
The standard of the pin has been cut down to introduce only part of the content
Refer to ASME b821.1-2009 "spring washer, toothed lock washer and peace washer" for explanation and introduction
General requirements for all gaskets
1. Scope of application
(1) the range of sizes applicable to this standard is: spring washer 0#~3in toothed lock washer 2#-1%in; Flat washer
The 0#~3in standard covers the size range, physical properties and relevant test methods of the product
(2) the size information included in this standard does not mean that all the listed products are stock products
The manufacturer should be consulted.
2. Relevant ISO standards
There is no ISO standard for inch series spring washers, toothed lock washers and plain washers
3. Washer type
(1) spring washer: spring washer includes the following four types: ordinary spring washer, heavy-duty spring washer and extra-large spring pad
Ring high rotation type spring washer (equivalent to lightweight spring washer in China and Germany)
(2) toothed locking washer: toothed locking washer includes the following types: inner teeth locking washer, outer teeth locking washer and tapered outer teeth
Lock washers and internal/external teeth lock washers are called type A and type B tooth shapes
(3) plain washer: plain washer is available in the following three types: type A washer, type B washer and protective washer
Size 4.
The dimensions specified in this standard are all in and are applicable to pre-coating processes
5. The responsibility of the restructuring
The manufacturer shall not be liable for defects resulting from electroplating or other changes that are not under the manufacturer's control or direction
Responsible.
6. The term
For gasket terms, see ASME B18.12
Of 7.
All inspections shall comply with the following requirements. The concept of batch is: same kind, same grade, same type, same surface treatment, same phase
All products of the same specification, same process, same heat treatment and made of the same material shall be made at the same time
Deliver all products for inspection and testing. The maximum number of batches is the total number of products produced in a shift.
If the user has no other requirements, for the non-hardness requirements flat gasket, there is no batch requirements and requirements, there is no maximum volume concept.
Note: due to the general flat gasket without hardness requirements are generally made of scrap steel plate, the material is not traceable.
8. Inspection and quality assurance
The gasket shall be free from burr, rust, flash, and other defects that may affect service.
Unless otherwise specified, the quality inspection shall comply with the ASME E18.18.2 standard.
